Abstract:We study the key features of the Josephson transport through a curved semiconducting nanowire. Based on numerical simulations and analytical estimates within the framework of the Bogoliubov -de Gennes equations we find the ground state phase difference ϕ0 between the superconducting leads tuned by the spin splitting field h driving the system from the topologically trivial to the nontrivial superconducting state. The phase ϕ0 vanishes for rather small h, grows in a certain field range around the topological tr… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
