Geometrical frustration and competing orders in the dipolar trimerized triangular lattice

Abstract: We introduce and explore low-energy configurations in two-dimensional arrays consisting of Ising-type dipolar coupled nanomagnets lithographically defined onto three-nanomagnet vertices arranged in a triangular coordination.
