“…This incidents were already reported by Matandirotya et al (2016), and we, like them, believe that they are related to power grid switching or voltage transients originating from high-power-demanding on the end load of power transmission and distribution networks, which result in changes in power line currents, whose magnetic effects are not effectively filtered in the one-second data provided by the magnetometers.
