Geological heritage as a basis for geoscience development: A case study of Bentong-Raub Suture in Lojing District, Gua Musang District, Kelantan, Malaysia

Abstract: The research area was completed in the Upper Triassic and is situated in the Bentong-Raub suture zone of the Upper Permian collision zone between the Sibumasu and Indochina plates. Geoheritage must be preserved for educational reasons in order to preserve the geological processes that create different lithologies as well as the geological structures that create distinctive geomorphology.
