This study aims to econometrically assess multidimensional poverty in Russia with regard to the quantitative and qualitative parameters of the population’s life-sustaining activities. Russia’s partial integrated poverty indices were constructed based on a combination of quantitative and qualitative parameters characterizing the possibilities of satisfying needs in the main spheres/sectors of human values. The indicators that affect the poverty level in the country were determined using linear regression models. The available time lag in the regression models enabled us to make a short-term forecast of changes in the poverty level in Russia. The proposed approach to assessing the national poverty level considers monetary indicators related to the level of income of the population, the affordability of services necessary to meet human needs, and the presence of opportunity costs, which imply sacrificing a person's free time to ensure the material wellbeing necessary for life

The influence of religion on poverty reduction has become an exciting study in various countries. Several studies have proven no relationship between religious observance and poverty alleviation. However, on the contrary, other studies have proven that religion affects poverty alleviation. In fact, religion should be able to help overcome poverty. Based on this phenomenon, this study will use raw data of Village Potential (Podes) data issued by BPS in 2018 for South Sulawesi Province, with around 3000 villages. The dependent variable of this study is the number of poor people in each village. Poverty data is taken from the number of poverty certificates issued by the village. This data explains the willingness of people to be considered poor, so that it can show voluntary poverty. Meanwhile, the independent variables include the number of religious places of worship, the number of educational institutions, the number of health institutions, the number of electricity customers, and the number of small-scale industries in the village. This study will use a simple regression method to find the relationship between the variables studied. Even though econometrically many variable relationships are not statistically significant which may be due to the completeness and abnormal distribution of the data, there are interesting variable relationships from this study. The relationship between religion and poverty is negative, indicating that religion can reduce poverty. Community-based health services (posyandu) can also reduce poverty. Markets that show economic aspects will also have an impact on reducing poverty. The same thing is technology proxied with electricity customers will also reduce poverty. Meanwhile, the geographic variable proxied by the distance between the village and the sub-district is not significant and the direction is not as expected. This study intends to examine the influence of geographical and infrastructure factors on poverty in the Bogor, Depok and Bekasi (Bodebek) areas in West Java Province. To achieve the objectives of the penelitian, a regression method is used using the poverty variable as the dependent variable. While the dependent variables are divided into 4 (four) groups, which are divided into groups of variables of geography, infrastructure, population economy, and macroeconomic variables. The data used in this study came from the raw data of the Village Potential Data Collection (Podes) of West Java Province released by the Central Statistics Agency. The data period used is Podes data in 2011, 2014 and 2018. The scope of the study was at the village / kelurahan level with a household-level analysis unit. The observations cover 5 buffer areas of the State Capital in West Java Province, including Bekasi Regency, Bekasi City, Bogor Regency, Bogor City and Depok City. The total samples used from the six regions were 802 villages and sub-districts. The data analysis technique used is a panel data regression technique or model. The processing of research data was carried out using stata 13 software. The study concluded that factors of geography, infrastructure, economic conditions of the population as well as macroeconomic variables influenced or at least related to poverty in the areas of Bogor Regency, Bogor City, Depok City, Bekasi Regency and Bekasi City (Bodebek). The influence of each variable is different in each district and city in the Bodebek region
