Geodesic Deviation Equation in ΛCDM f ( T , T ) $f(T,\mathcal {T})$ Gravity

Abstract: The geodesic deviation equation has been investigated in the framework of f (T, T ) gravity, where T denotes the torsion and T is the trace of the energy-momentum tensor, respectively. The FRW metric is assumed and the geodesic deviation equation has been established following the General Relativity approach in the first hand and secondly, by a direct method using the modified Friedmann equations. Via fundamental observers and null vector fields with FRW background, we have generalized the Raychaudhuri equatio… Show more

“…In this particular modification, gravitational Lagrangian is composed by the arbitrary function comprising the torsion scalar T and trace τ of the energy-momentum tensor. The f (T, τ ) modification [15][16][17][18][19][20][21][22], explains gravity in a completely different way while compared to other torsion or curvature-based gravity theories, which is formulated from the tetrad field. Two types of tetrads were suggested in [67].…”

“…We note from literature survey that almost all the works under the background of f (T, T ) gravity have been performed in different cosmological context [62][63][64][65][66][67][68][69][70][71][72][73]. However, there are a few astrophysical applications of f (T, T ) gravity as can be found in the works of Pace and Said [74,75].…”

“…Thus, a new possibility of modified teleparallel gravity arose, namely, f (T, T ) gravity [48]. This new modified gravity model has gained a lot of attention recently due significant results obtained in cosmological perturbations and thermodynamics [48][49][50][51][52][53][54][55][56]. Also, interesting astrophysical applications [57][58][59][60], new developments in dark energy [61,62], and in a viable alternative to black hole (called Gravstar) [63], were obtained through ideas of f (T, T ) gravity.…”
