Abstract:The Jurassic‐Cretaceous chert of the Naga Hills Ophiolite (NHO) is tectonically juxtaposed with the mafics (mostly basalts) and ultramafics along the Indo‐Myanmar Ranges (IMR), which constitute the southeastern extension of the Indus‐Yarlung‐Tsangpo Suture.
