“…Keban mining area (Elazig, Turkey) (N38 ° 47'52''and E38 ° 40'502'') is one of the biggest Pb, Zn and Ag deposits, which is related to the syenitic and syenomonzonitic rocks around the Keban (Akgul ) (Fig. ).…”

“…Small amounts of pyrite occur in quartz-calcite veins, and gold mineralization is less in this stage. The presence of fluorite mineralization has been reported to be closely related to A-type granites [47,48]. Combined, the development of Cu-polymetallic mineralization in the SAFG and widespread K-feldspar alteration and fluorite mineralization in ore bodies suggest that these ore-forming hydrothermal fluids are mainly derived from the SAFG.…”

“…The typ locality of the Yüksekova Complex unit firstly studied by Perinçek (1979) is in the area of Yüksekova town, Hakkari city. The outcrops of the unit are widespread in the north of Hazar Lake and in the vicinity of Elazığ province (Akgül 1991, Akgül 19932015;Hempton 1985;Hempton and Savcı 1982;Ural and Kürüm 2009;Kürüm et al 2011). The unit is represented by oceanic sediments (red-greenish grey-light grey limestone, shale, sandstone) associated with volcanic (basalt, diabase, andesite) and volcanoclastic (tuff, agglomerate) rocks together with their intrusive equivalents (gabbro, diorite, granodiorite and granite,) and minor serpentinized ultramafic rocks (Perinçek 1979).…”
