Abstract: Background: Familial Mediterranean fever is a hereditary autoinflammatory disease affecting mainly Arabs, Turks, Armenians, and Jews with genotype-phenotype heterogeneity, presenting as recurrent episodes of fever along with polyserositis and rash.
