Genotype-environment interaction in poroporo (Solanum aviculare)

Abstract: Three small genotype X environment experiments were conducted on a random sample of poroporo (Solanum aviculare) lines taken from natural habitats, to evaluate their performance under commercial conditions. Considerable genotype X environment interaction was noted for the 3 characters measured: dry matter yield, solasodine yield, and solasodine percentage.
