Abstract: The cyst nematode Heterodera filipjevi is a plant parasite causing substantial yield loss in wheat. Resistant cultivars are the preferred method of controlling cyst nematodes. As a result of H. filipjevi feeding on roots of infected plants the grain yield losses may reach up to 50% (Pariyar et al , ).
