Abstract:Genomic tumor testing (GTT) is an emerging technology aimed at identifying variants in tumors that can be targeted with genomically matched drugs. “…The MCGI was launched over an 18-month period at all 19 oncology practices in the state and enrolled 1603 adult patients between July 2017 and September 2020, 1290 (80%) of whom had a successful test performed. Of these, approximately 16% received genome-matched treatment . This level of engagement was the result of continuous efforts to build trust not only with physicians, but also all relevant health care professionals and hospital administrative leadership for each hospital system.…”
