“…Las especies que tienen mayor porcentaje de supervivencia son P. piscipula, con 99.1% a los dos meses, que disminuye en un 9.1% al término del ensayo y C. brasiliense que se mantiene constante con 92.1% durante todo el experimento. Las especies con menor supervivencia son T. donnell-smithii, que pasa de 96.8 a 44.19% y D. guianense, de 94.2 a 60%, a los dos y seis meses de edad por el grave problema fúngico que provocó la defoliación y la muerte en algunas plantas en el último período de evaluación (Figura 3.7).Los tiempos que involucra la germinación dependen de las características genéticas, fisiológicas y morfológicas de cada semilla, del medio en el que germinan y de sus reservas nutritivas, Soriano et al 2013, Schmidt 2016.Para posteriores estudios debe considerarse que las semillas de C. brasiliense, B. integerrima y T. donnell-smithii son recalcitrantes. Particularmente, C. brasiliense es hidrocora(Nery et al 2007), por lo que su contenido de humedad es alto; el tiempo de germinación es bajo por esta característica y porque se utilizan semillas sin cubierta seminal como en este estudio.…”
