Genetic variability, heritability and genetic advance in first clonal stage of sugarcane

Abstract: Genotypic coefficient of variability gives the magnitude of genetic variance present in the population. The heritability in broad sense is a measure of proportion of total genetic variance reflecting the performance repeatability and its appropriate estimate for clonally propagated crops like sugarcane.
