“…Over the years, the mitochondrial cox2-3 spacer has been used for DNA barcoding (Tan et al, 2012), molecular identification and systematics (Zhao & He, 2011;Araújo et al, 2013;Tan et al, 2013;, species description (Ganzon-Fortes et al, 2012;Tan et al, 2014) and detection of bioinvasions (Conklin et al, 2009).
