Abstract: The invasion of the Western Hemisphere native fall armyworm ( Spodoptera frugiperda ; J. E. Smith) (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae) into the Eastern Hemisphere has been notable for the rapidity and geographical breadth of new detections.
