Abstract: Background: Carbapenem-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae (CRKP) is a serious public health issue. The study aimed to identify the antimicrobial resistance and accessory genes, the clonal relatedness, and the evolutionary dynamics of selected CRKP isolates recovered in an adult and pediatric intensive care unit of a tertiary hospital in Greece.
