Genetic characterization of biopsy-proven myocarditis: a pilot study

Abstract: Background Myocarditis is characterized by the presence of an inflammatory infiltrate in the myocardium with degenerative/necrotic changes of cardiomyocytes, not-related to ischemic damage.
