Genesis of Organochlorine Compounds in Crude Oil and Petroleum Products (A Review)

Abstract: This review systematizes and summarizes the available published data on the genesis, nature, and structure of organochlorine compounds (OCCs) detected in crude oil and petroleum products. The main aspects related to the sources of chloride formation in crude oil are discussed.
