Generators for Symmetric Universal Quantum Cloning Machines

Abstract: We report a simple Hermitian operator whose eigenspace corresponding to the maximum eigenvalue defines the symmetric universal cloning machines. It opens up therefore the possibility of implementing universal quantum cloning machines via adiabatic evolution.
