Generation of Hydroelastic Surface Waves in Heavy Fluid by Harmonic Seismic Sources in Elastic Half‐Space

Abstract: The influence of layered ocean structure on the tsunami generation under action of seismic sources is studied in the long‐wave approximation. The ocean consists of two incompressible inviscid heavy fluid layers with close densities (its bottom assumed to be linearly elastic).
