Abstract:Cesium lead bromide (CsPbBr3) nanocrystals with excellent absorption and emission properties when coupled to a molybdenum diselenide (MoSe2) monolayer, transfer more than 86% of their photo‐excited energy to MoSe2. As a result, shown by Ilka Kriegel and co‐workers in article number 2200638, enhancement of MoSe2 emission can be observed, but most of the transferred energy results in the generation of free carriers in MoSe2. scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
