Generation of current conveyor based oscillators using nodal admittance matrix expansion

Abstract: A new approach in the systematic synthesis of current conveyor based active RC canonic oscillators is given. The synthesis procedure is based on the generalized systematic synthesis framework using admittance matrix expansion. The resulting derived oscillators include many novel oscillators, using various types of current conveyors and inverting current conveyors. The oscillators considered in this paper uses the minimum number of passive elements namely two capacitors and three resistors necessary to have ind… Show more

“…At last, a second current mirror is connected rows 1 and 6 to move -G 4 to be G 4 at the position 6, 6. The NAM matrix with the added nullormirror elements represented by bracket notation is shown in (6). (6) Here, G 1 , G 2 , G 3 , and G 4 denote the admittances between nodes 3, 4, 5, 6 and ground, respectively.…”

“…(6) Here, G 1 , G 2 , G 3 , and G 4 denote the admittances between nodes 3, 4, 5, 6 and ground, respectively. As (6) shows, this expanded matrix contains four different pairs of pathological elements, two grounded capacitors, and four grounded admittances, namely G 1 , G 2 , G 3 , and G 4 .…”
