Generating Function Approach for the Synthesis of Multichannel Spatial Filters by Diffractive Optics
Abstract: Closed form generating functions of orthogonal polynomials were exploited to design optical complex spatial filters for multichannel coherent correlator. Fabricated computer generated holograms of orthogonal Laguerre-Gaussian modes provided set of quality correlation peaks in experiments.
