Generating cooperative question-responses by means of erotetic search scenarios

Abstract: Abstract. The concept of cooperative question-responses as an extension of cooperative behaviours used by interfaces for databases and information systems is proposed. A procedure to generate question-responses based on question dependency and erotetic search scenarios is presented. The procedure is implemented in Prolog.

“…corresponding to each successful erotetic move. As algorithms for generating these scenarios have already been implemented (Bolotov, Łupkowski, & Urbański, 2006;Chlebowski, Komosinski, & Kups, 2017;Łupkowski & Leszczyńska-Jasion, 2015), there is reason to think that implementing SC ? is both feasible and complementary of the systems for erotetic search scenarios.…”

“…See also [14] for the connection between e-scenarios and proof theory. E-scenarios were also used as a basis for the procedure of generating cooperative responses useful for the interfaces of information systems  see [9] and [8]. The procedure presented in [9] was implemented in Prolog and is available for download.…”

The procedure presented in [9] was implemented in Prolog and is available for download. 1 This paper is structured as follows: Similarities and differences between our approach and the already existing frameworks for agents using questioning agendas are discussed in Section 1.…”
