Abstract:The interaction between generalized screw dislocation and two asymmetrical interfacial secondary cracks emanating from an elliptic blunt crack tip in magneto‐electro‐elastic solid is investigated. Utilizing the complex potential method, the closed‐form solutions for complex potentials and generalized stress fields are derived. In some limiting cases, the present solutions can reduce to the well‐known results. Moreover, many new solutions for special cases are discussed. The energy release rate at the right int… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
