Generalized Plastic Hinge Method for Failure Analysis of Steel Framed Structures

Abstract: For steel framed structures with small geometric nonlinearity, the conventional first-order plastic hinge method (FPHM) estimates rapidly the failure mode and ultimate strength of frames according to the proportionality property.
