Generalized Neutrosophic Soft Expert Set for Multiple-Criteria Decision-Making

Abstract: Smarandache defined a neutrosophic set to handle problems involving incompleteness, indeterminacy, and awareness of inconsistency knowledge, and have further developed it neutrosophic soft expert sets. In this paper, this concept is further expanded to generalized neutrosophic soft expert set (GNSES). We then define its basic operations of complement, union, intersection, AND, OR, and study some related properties, with supporting proofs. Subsequently, we define a GNSES-aggregation operator to construct an alg… Show more

“…Currently, the study on soft sets is developing promptly such as fuzzy soft sets [8,9], intuitionistic fuzzy soft sets [10,11] and multi-fuzzy soft sets [12]. Following from there, Alkhazaleh and Salleh [13] investigated the theory of soft expert sets, which later broadened to a fuzzy soft expert set theory [14], a bipolar fuzzy soft expert set [15], a multi Q-fuzzy soft expert set [16], and a neutrosophic soft expert set [17,18].…”

“…Smarandache [16,17] proposed neutrosophic set to handle problems containing imprecise, incomplete, uncertain and indeterminate data. Neutrosophic sets progressed rapidly to neutrosophic oversets, neutrosophic undersets, neutrosophic offsets [18], neutrosophic cubic sets [19], neutrosophic and generalised neutrosophic soft sets [20][21][22], neutrosophic rough sets [23][24][25][26], neutrosophic vague sets [27,28] and complex neutrosophic sets [29][30][31][32].…”

“…Karaaslan [21] introduced the possibility of neutrosophic soft sets by assigning probability to the three function values and defined related properties and operations. In addition, the concepts of single-valued neutrosophic refined soft sets [22], generalized neutrosophic soft expert sets [23], and neutrosophic soft rough sets [24] were presented successively.…”
