Generalized edema as presenting feature of anti-NXP2 positive Juvenile dermatomyositis: A case report and review of literature

Abstract: Juvenile dermatomyositis (JDM) is a rare childhood inflammatory disease.Clinical manifestations include muscle weakness and skin rashes.However, generalized edema is uncommon in JDM.Treatment is based on prolonged immunosuppressive therapy.Only few case reports of edematous JDM has been described.Here we aim to describe a case of edematous JDM with review of literature
