Abstract:Analysis of heat transfer through different candidates for high performance fins is considered in this work. These candidates are: (A) fins of constant cross-sectional area, (B) fins of constant cross-sectional area gradient, and (C) radial fins with powerlaw cross-sectional area distribution.
