Abstract:In this paper, generalized impedance boundary conditions (GIBC) are derived at an interface between isotropic, homogeneous dielectric media. The advanta•ge of [his technique is that rather than requiring that the tangential components of the E and H fields be continuous over the interface; an equivalent set of boundary conditions involving the electric field and its space derivatives is applied, reducing the problem dimension and therefore the computational needs significantly. The equivalence between the two … Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
