Generalised Equilibrium Reduced-Density Operator

Abstract: Equilibrium reduced-density operators for subsystems of the universe are derived from the generalised Schrödinger variational principle, additionally assuming that the values of von Neumann entropy for the subsystems are fixed and higher than zero.
