General characteristics of the Human Coronavirus (HCoVs) and the new coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) that produces COVID-19 illness.

Abstract: The new coronavirus has been named severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) responsible of the COVID-19 illness, it is a virus that belongs to the Coronavirus family, it is the third virus in this family that causes an epidemic.
