Gene Therapy in India- Current Status

Abstract: Gene therapy is being considered as a promising modality for more than two decades now. It has been used for a number of difficult-to-treat conditions and has shown good results in some of the conditions, but not that effective in some others. Overcoming the initially faced hindrances, the research in the field of gene therapy resurged.
