Gene mapping of an ultra-dwarf mutant in upland cotton

Abstract: A ultra-dwarf mutant was newly found in upland cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.). This mutant was controlled by single recessive gene du. Seventy pairs of polymorphic primers were selected from 1350 primers, which covered all the identified chromosomes by screening in parents and near-isogenic lines. Gene du was mapped using an F2 population derived from intraspecific crosses between "Ultra-dwarf 1" and "Xinluzao 16". Thirty-six primers were distributed in eight linkage groups, and du was linked to LG01. Seven co… Show more

“…Others dwarf mutants showed extreme phenotypes without application potential. An ultra-dwarf mutant of cotton controlled by a du gene, and its dwarfing gene was located on chromosome A06 [ 10 ]. GhLi-1 was a classical dwarf mutant of upland cotton, with short fibers.…”

“…And the wireless network technologies have different standard protocols depending on the various application environments and needs such as WiFi, WCDMA, TD-SCDMA and LTE technology. Meanwhile, H.264/AVC as a kind of video codec standard supports good video quality at substantially lower bit rates than previous standards without increasing the complexity of design [1] [2]. However, due to time-varying wireless channels , high-complexity video codec algorithms, network transmission packets loss and so on , wireless real-time video monitoring system is difficult to be guaranteed.…”
