In der ambulanten Psychotherapie sind Menschen mit Migrationshintergrund weniger repräsentiert, als es die gesellschaftlich statistischen Erhebungen erwarten lassen. So scheint es notwendig zu untersuchen, welche Schwierigkeiten in der Behandlung auftreten können, mit denen auch Gruppenpsychotherapeut:innen konfrontiert sind. Anhand von prägnanten Übertragungsund Gegenübertragungssituationen in türkischsprachigen und deutschen Gruppen versucht der Autor die Besonderheiten multikultureller Gruppen hervorzuheben, diskutiert gängige theoretische Konzepte und formuliert Empfehlungen für die Herangehensweise.
