Gender Inequality in Teacher Recruitment: Lack of Male Teachers

Abstract: Due to the lack of male teachers, many primary and secondary schools provide policies in favor of men in teacher recruitment in order to balance the gender ratio of teachers in schools. However, such recruitment policies cannot change men's resistance to the education industry but cause discrimination and unfair treatment of women in recruitment.
