Gender Differences in Psychosocial and Physical Outcomes in Haitian Amputees

Abstract: Services for psychosocial adjustment are critical for traumatic amputees and should be incorporated into rehabilitation programs after a disaster. Interventions should consider gender roles in the indigenous culture.
