Gender as a Subject of Interdisciplinary Research

Abstract: The article emphasizes the interdisciplinary nature in the definition of such a thing as "gender". The author considers the main approaches to understanding "gender", presenting various reasons for defining the concept of "gender". The relevance of the study of biological and social factors in the nature of gender is shown. Formation of gender is considered as an integral part of human socialization.
