Economic growth incorporating women's participation opens many economic opportunities for women which not only upgrade women's status in society but also make growth more inclusive. Improved condition and position of women in society play an important role in developing women along with enhancing their economic role. Besides explaining the significant role of women in an economy. This paper also throws some light on the need for good governance to enhance their economic role. In this context to evaluate the effect of the development of women on inclusive growth panel data models named the Fixed-Effect and Random-Effect Models have been used. Moreover, the models of White, Rogers, and Driscoll-Kraay estimators are also applied for robustness considering the three selected South Asian countries for the period between 2000-2021. The study finds that developing women play an influential role in inclusive growth and this relationship becomes more significant in the presence of good governance. Thus, it has been recommended that there should be a special focus on government policies towards women’s education, health, and political representation to make economic growth more inclusive by enhancing their economic role through their development.

Purpose – This study aims to examine the important role of religion and the contribution of the community to empower women in building women's capabilities as actors in the family economy.Methodology – This study uses a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach and collects data using observation, interviews, and documentation studies.Findings – This study shows that the contextualization of religious teachings, which are widely discussed in religious forums (Payungi Entrepreneurial Pesantren), and the contribution of the community in the actualization of ideas in women's empowerment can change the negative stigma of women and encourage women to become economic actors in the family through women's entrepreneurial activities.Implications – Religion and community can be optimized to encourage women to build capabilities and respond to various forms of inequality. Their existence in empowering women contributes to shaping the character of women entrepreneurs by prioritizing religious and collectivity values.Originality – This study completes the puzzle of previous research deficiencies by revealing phenomena in women's empowerment built from religious spirits and transformative movements produced by the community.

Perempuan yang sejauh ini banyak mendapatkan diskriminasi dalam berbagai sektor pada prinsipnya memiliki potensi yang sama dengan laki-laki dalam ekonomi, sosial, politik, dan pendidikan. Namun meskipun demikian, keberadaan perempuan tidak banyak mendapat perhatian dan bahkan terbentur oleh beberapa nomenklatur yang berlaku. Agama dalam hal ini memiliki peran penting dalam pengembangan potensi dan kapabilitas perempuan. Selain itu, budaya juga memiliki nilai dan kekuatan yang sama untuk membangun sebuah kualifikasi perempuan. Integrasi keduanya dalam pemberdayaan ekonomi perempuan seharusnya menjadi keterhubungan yang memberi dampak signifikan pada ekonomi perempuan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara langsung, dokumentasi, dan observasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merefleksikan keberadaan agama dan budaya yang mampu mendorong perempuan dengan segala keterbatasannya dalam membangun struktur ekonominya. Penelitian ini menawarkan pembahasan mengenai integrasi agama dan budaya sebagai dasar gerakan komunitas pemberdayaan perempuan yang membawa dampak signifikan pada pembangunan ekonomi perempuan. Pertama, adanya Pesantren Wirausaha mampu meningkatkan kapasitas perempuan melalui advokasi-advokasi yang dilakukan setiap malam Kamis sebagai agenda rutin Pesantren. Kedua, keberadaan komunitas yang mengintegrasikan semangat keagamaan dan kekuatan sosial-budaya mampu mentransformasikan ruang agama yang eksklusif dan kebudayaan yang kaku mampu membuat gerakan-gerakan yang responsif dan komprehensif. Namun demikian, artikel ini masih terbatas pada skala diskusi dalam pemberdayaan, pesantren, dan perempuan di Payungi, jadi ini masih membutuhkan studi lebih lanjut dengan melihat dampak sosial-politik yang dihasilkan.
