Geminivirus Database (GVDB): First Database of Family Geminiviridae and its genera Begomovirus

Abstract: Geminivirus Database (GVDB) is an online interactive database of Geminiviridae family. GVDB comprises of partial and complete nucleotide sequences along with duly annotated expressed genes of isolated Begomovirus species. The in silico homology modeling, docking and recombination results obtained for different begomoviral sequences are also mentioned. This database is endowed with comprehensive information about Geminivirus members which grounds infection in various plants species in India assorting from crops… Show more

“…Consequently, diagnosing host for viruses at earliest is the prime approach toward controlling and eliminating harmful virus [12,13]. The starter of a novel class of nanoscale particles with numerous exceptional properties and functions has flashed a series of innovative applications [14]. Engineered nano-materials (nanoparticles) range from 1 to 100 nm in size [15].…”

“…The surface glycoprotein [QHD43416] sequence of SARS-CoV-2 was retrieved from NCBI and its PDB file was designed by using phyre 2 server. The analysis of sequence, algorithm design and biological data management is possible by in-silico methods [7,8,9,10]. In present study, the surface glycoprotein [QHD43416] of SARS-CoV-2 was characterized for structure analysis and validation to provide information about its three-dimensional structure by using in silico tools and techniques.…”
