Gamma ray spectra associated with the decay of l~ and xllmpd have been studied with Ge (Li) and Ge(Li)--NaI(T1) speetrometers. Thirty six gamma rays ineluding five new transitious ate identified in the l~ decay and placed in a leveI scheme involving two new excited states in i~ at 697 § 0.9 and 811 + 1.0 keV beside twelve known states. Direetional angular eorrelation measurements have alsobeen car¡ out and the spins of states of energies greater than 415 keV have been determined together with related multipolarities and mixiag ratios. For the mmpd decay, 91 gamma rays including 17 rtew transitions are observed. The dedueed level scheme of ntAg is found to involve 25 excited states from which five levels at 1351 _+_ 0.6, 1632 ! 0.4, 1764 + 0.5, 2060 _+ 0.5 and 2167 + 0.5 keV are considered to be new. Previously reported states at 1781.6, 1933.9 and 1964.6 keVare not confirmed. Spin and parity assignments for the various observed levels are suggested.
