GCF levels of human beta defensins 1and 3 in diabetic and non diabetic patients with chronic periodontitis

Abstract: Background: Human beta defensins (HβDs) expression in healthy tissues may aid in preventing the onset and/or progression of inflammatory disease.Type 2 diabetes mellitus (type 2 DM) and periodontal disease encompass inflammatory changes.
