GC-MS Analyses of the Essential Oils Obtained from Pinaceae Leaves in Korea

Abstract: The essential oils of the genus Abies, Cedrus, and Picea belonging to Pinaceae were analyzed by GC-MS. From three essential oils of the genus Abies, Cedrus, and Picea, twenty-nine components were identified. The major compounds of Abies firma were bornyl acetate (27.1 %), δ-3-carene (16.3 %), α-pinene (14.0 %), β-caryophyllene (9.0 %), and camphene (6.1 %).
