Gastrointestinal Beriberi Mimicking a Surgical Emergency in a Well-Nourished Patient: A Case Report

Abstract: Beriberi is a well-documented disease caused by thiamine deficiency. The diagnosis of gastrointestinal beriberi in the clinical setting is uncommon, especially in nonalcoholic patients.
