Gastrointestinal activity of saponins from soy and tomato

Abstract: Saponins, a structurally diverse family of secondary plant metabolites, have been suggested to possess anti‐carcinogenic, hypolipemic, hypocholesterolemic, and immune‐enhancing activities.
