Abstract:Patients with VACTERL Association have multiple gastrointestinal comorbidities extending into adulthood. The term VACTERL stands for vertebral defects, anal atresia, cardiac defects, tracheo-esophageal fistula (TEF) with or without esophageal atresia (EA), renal anomalies, and limb abnormalities.
