Garimpando palavras: produção e circulação de conhecimento no século XIX a partir do gesto de autoria de Alencar / Digging for Words: the production and circulation of knowledge in the 19th Century from the gestures of Alencar

Abstract

With this article, which is anchored in the Analysis of Materialist Discourse and in its relation with the History of Linguistic Ideas, we started from a set of notes produced by Alencar for the novels Iracema and O Guarani which had as their common characteristic the explicit referencing of their sources. Our proposal was to go in search of a retrospection horizon projected in the notes in order to reflect on the (re) production and circulation of knowledge by the notes. For the analysis of the relationships between the notes and their sources, we also used Authier-Revuz's theoretical-analytical apparatus, which allowed us to observe the dynamic that is woven between what is attributed to you and the other in its different forms and functions. The analysis path undertaken allowed us to observe the author's gestures about the language.
