GaP-OI Resonator Design for Octave-spanning Kerr Soliton Frequency Comb Generation

Abstract: We propose a thin SiO2-passivated GaP-OI resonator design for octave-spanning Kerr soliton frequency comb generation with a tooth spacing of 100 GHz and 24 mW threshold power. These results underpin the potentials of experimental soliton demonstration.
