Abstract: A major hallmark of Alzheimer disease (AD) is the accumulation of extracellular aggregates of amyloid-β (Aβ). Structural polymorphism observed among Aβ fibrils in AD brains seem to correlate with the clinical sub-types suggesting a link between fibril polymorphism and pathology.
